Career

LA Direct Models announced her signing on September 20, 2010, alongside Tasha Reign. Within weeks she was on a P!nk music video set, and by the end of November she was co-headlining a convention in Melbourne. Her first full year closed with ten award nominations, including newcomer nods from both AVN and XBIZ.

November 2011 brought an exclusive deal with Mark Spiegler's Spiegler Girls. The 2012 and 2013 award seasons then produced thirteen wins across AVN, XBIZ and XRCO, among them Female Performer of the Year at the 2013 XBIZ Awards. She announced her retirement on May 1, 2013, and confirmed it to AVN two days later.

Thirteen wins in total: nine AVN Awards, one XBIZ Award and three XRCO Awards, from 43 recorded nominations across the three bodies. The TLA Raw Award for Best Female Newcomer in 2012 and three Spank Bank Awards in 2013 sit alongside them. A Best Foreign Non-Feature award for Brooklyn Lee: Nymphomaniac belongs to the film rather than to her, and the databases that count it as a personal win arrive at a higher total than the trade record supports.

How she worked

She co-wrote Voracious with John Stagliano, which is unusual for a lead performer, and she kept a tight hold on her own presentation: the blog, photographs and question and answer posts on her site were hers. The compliment that recurs in the trade press is that she could act. Tabitha Stevens, who produced the Friday the 13th parody she appeared in, said as much, adding that she was easy to work with as well. She also travelled constantly for shoots, and in early 2013 was still house-dancing in Las Vegas when she was in town.
